Kut started out in Tokyo spinning parties in the late 80’s early 90’s and that’s when he first fell in love with music. No later Kut purchased his first sampler and began making beats in the early 90’s. From 1995-1998 he spent some time in various U.S. cities, and after coming back to Japan Kut soon aimed to focus on the international dance music game, which led him to getting signed with various New York, Chicago, UK, Italy, Germany, and Swedish dance music labels.
But Kut’s passion was his grass roots “Hip Hop”. Kut has produced for several artists from Major to independent labels internationally, and soon started to produce for artists in U.S. while he’s in Japan. Kut has gotten production credits for artist like Cam’ron, Talib Kweli, Fiend, (R.I.P.) Fred Da Godson, Back shot, Fendi P and more up to the present.
